We are very excited to announce that The Lost Kodas has been nominated for The People’s Book Prize in the children’s literature category.  

 The People’s Book Prize is a unique competition, voted for by the nation, which champions new authors and showcases undiscovered works. Every three months there is a public vote across three categories, including Children’s Literature.

The Lost Kodas is the first book in Myra King’s horse and pony series, Apley Towers. The series follows the story of Kaela, Trixie and Angela as they make new friendships and learn valuable life lessons with horses and humans alike.

 The book has already been featured as a recommendation in the Guardian supplement “The Best New Children’s Books Summer 2016”, and winning The People’s Book Prize will help to give Myra the recognition her writing deserves!
