Illustrator Submissions

We’re inviting YOU to join our mission and bring great stories within the reach of all readers.
We produce books for early readers through to teens and we are looking for a range of illustration styles including:
- picture books
- black line drawings
- grayscale illustrations
- illustrated covers from early readers to teens
We wish to represent all readers in the books we publish, through:
- authentic appearance of our characters, their worlds and their families
- a diverse range of artists from all backgrounds
We are encouraging submissions from ALL illustrators, and would like to see more artists from marginalised and underrepresented communities submit their work.
Whether you are established, a student or just starting out we want to hear from you.
To send us your portfolio please include:
- a link to your website or instagram (or attach a low-res PDF with 5 samples that you are most proud of – 5MB max)
- tell us a little bit about yourself with some brief biographical information
- your contact details
Upon submission you’ll receive an immediate email acknowledgment that your work has reached us. We know how important it is to receive a response but as we are a small but dedicated team, it is not always possible to reply individually to each and every submission.
