Get Stuck into Easter Arts and Crafts

Egg Painting

Egg painting is a fun and easy activity that doesn’t require a lot of supplies. If you don’t have any paint lying around in the house, simply use markers, glitter, coloured paper or food dye to decorate some hard-boiled eggs.

Rainbows for NHS

If they haven’t already, get the kids to create a rainbow poster and stick it up on the window to show your support for the NHS workers on the front line. Get creative and use tissue paper, glitter or paint to create your rainbow poster!

Staying Active Together

Why not give a home workout a go? Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach is giving kids daily PE lessons live on Facebook! Tune in to PE with Joe Wicks on Friday 10th April for a special Dress Up Friday edition!

Challenge the family to learn a TikTok dance or host an at-home disco! Grab the speaker and get creative and decorate the house, make a fruit punch and dust off the disco ball from the attic! Don’t own a disco ball? No problem! Simply use these YouTube links on a laptop or tablet to mimic a disco flashing ball lights.

This Spotify playlist is guaranteed to get the kids off the couch for a little boogie!

Easy Easter Bakes

Use up your chocolate eggs with these Easter sweet treats from BBC Good Food.

Get the whole family involved with Sunday lunch

We know cooking on Easter involves a lot of preparation and effort, so why not get the little ones involved to give you a helping hand. Depending on their age, they can prep the vegetables, season the potatoes or set up the table.

Be sure to send us pictures of what you and the family are up to this Easter weekend.

Stay at home this weekend and stay safe.
Best wishes, the Sweet Cherry team
